..ever indicated under who's colors he'll go into the HOF with?

The Football HoF isn't like the Baseball HoF.
In the Football HoF, you don't go in as a member of a certain team. All teams you play for are listed, however it does give the team of most contribution.

He'll want to go in as a Steeler, but the league will designate him as a Rat. The whole Super Bowl 35 biz, and the ridiculous notion that there are too many Steelers in the Hall.

he announced a few years ago, hes going in as a steeler. rod in 09 along with bruce smith and shannon sharpe.
looking at the rest of the class, they all should get in 1st try.

For what it is worth, when he played in the 'old-timers' flag football games during Pro Bowl week festivities in Honolulu, he wore his Steelers jersey every time.....
No matter what, he will always be a Steeler in my mind.... |

i'm still sad that rod didn't play for us for a few more years. he is one of my favorite alltime steelers.
he was a bright spot on some mediocre late 80's teams and a superstar on the great 90's teams. we still love ya rod. i'm glad you finally got a ring even though it was for the enemy. |

oh man.. i didnt realize he was already up for nomination.. i hope he goes in first ballot. being on the all century team has to mean something. i will be there front and center with my woodson jersey and terrible towel. it will be ridiculous to see the number of steelers fans when he and bettis go in.
