Default PA residents - Which candidate will take your state?

The pundits are saying that PA is the state that McCain has a chance of flipping from blue to red. The tone of this board seems to suggest that most PA folks are tilting McCain, but I also understand there is a very big political divide between east and east PA. I would imagine its safe to assume there is a western bias on a Steeler site.

Just curious to see what you PA residents think will happen with PA's electoral vote tommorrow. Remember, the question asks who you predict will win, not who you would prefer to win.

Please share the reasoning behind your answer.

I still think Obama will win PA, and that will be because of Rendell and his influence on Philadelphia/Eastern PA tipping the scales in his favor. It will be very close in Western PA and would not surprise me if McCain won Allegheny County in particular. He is getting a lot of support in areas that have been traditional Democratic strongholds, such as the borough I live in, and has more support in the city of Pittsburgh than I would have thought. But I don't think it'll be enough overall even with most of Central PA supporting McCain. No matter who wins, it will be by a very slim margin.

Keep in mind, that the members of this board (or at least the most politcally vocal members) might be conservative, but it's still such a small sample size from the entire community of Pittsburgh as to be irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. I wouldn't base the entire Western PA vote based on a small handful members of internet junkies who happen to be Steelers fans as well.

That's the problem with polls though, the actual audience polled is rarely a true indicator of the target audience. Or maybe the targeted audience is rarely a true indicator of the actual voting mass. Either way, the numbers can easily be misleading...and it's as simple as the phrasing of the question that does it.
