this is
![]() I'll be so looking forward to watching his post press conferences should be very entertaining. http://blog.mlive.com/twominutedrill...out_inter.html Billick: No comment about interest in Lions If former Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings coach and current Fox network NFL color commentator Brian Billick is interested in becoming the next team president, general manager or head coach of the Detroit Lions, he's not tipping his hand. Billick deflected questions about the winless Lions in a conference call with reporters Wednesday. "I have a day job that I'm focusing on," he said. "Out of respect for the situation, for me to comment on an interest or lack of interest in any job that currently has a coach is inappropriate. Those things will take care of itself after the season. Right now, I'm staying focused on my day job." He had nothing but praise for Marinelli. "There's no better man than Rod Marinelli. If you don't like Rod Marinelli, then it's you," Billick said "I promise you. He's a good man, he's a good coach." Former Tennessee Titans general manager Floyd Reese, now an ESPN analyst, has expressed interest in replacing Matt Millen as president and general manager of the Lions. Lions owner William Clay Ford, Sr., has stated he plans to wait until the end of the season to announce a permanent replacement for Millen.

I want Millen's old job! Hell, I can stand getting paid in the high-6/low-7 figures to take a WR in the first round of the draft every year. I can be just as completely incompetent of a GM as he was.
