If I want to play online I usually have to move it. If anyone knows any other way I would be interested in knowing as well.

Well, you need a router and 3 ethernet cables. 1 ethernet cable from the modem to the router. 1 ethernet cable from the router to the computer and 1 ethernet cable from the router to the PS2. If you have the PS2 in a room on the ground floor, drop the cable from the router thru the floor and run it thru the basement and up in the room with the PS2. If you don't you'll have to go thru the wall. Good luck

That seems like too much work, I might just move my wireless connection off the comp

I tried that. It didn't work for me. Let me know if you get it to work though.

I think that you will lag to much with a wireless router. I haven't had any problems with my regular router.

I tried hooking a cable from the router to the computer and then another from the router to the PS2. It wouldn't work at all. The test connection thing said it had a signal, but when I tried to sign on Madden Online it was a no go. Anyone know how to fix that?
