When I first saw the hit, I thought it was a bit dirty. But after I saw the replay, I realized it was a clean hit. Good thing I am not a ref.

It was a solid clean hit and should not be fined by the league. I am getting sick of these fines to be honest.

There's no question it was a clean, hard hit, but if the "league" is going to establish any type of consistency on these calls, there should be a fine forthcoming. IMO, some of the fines the Steelers players have had to pay were weaker than this.

If no fine is levied, then that would just show me goodcall picks and chooses the plays he thinks are "fineable". Now after reading what I just typed....There will be no fine.

No doubt it was a great hit by Crocker, but the best part in all of this is the fact that Holmes held onto the ball and made the tough catch. Here is my biggest complain though. Why is it if Hines makes a great and legal block or hit the NFL wants to jump in and review whether or not he should be fined. If you are going to do that for Hines then you have to do it for all hits in the NFL. Not once did I hear anything about the media talking about Crocker getting fined, instead all the talk was about it being such a great hit. Now we all know if it was reversed and Hines had another big hit or block they would be talking differently and wanting another fine for Ward. Just does not make sense to me. I really wish Goodell could learn how to be consistent because he is not even close at this point.
