Sources: Quinn to miss rest of season

Quote:
There will be no more quarterback controversy in Cleveland this season.

Browns quarterback Brady Quinn is done for the year after doctors revealed that the break to his right index finger has gotten worse since he's tried to play through the injury, sources told FOXSports.com.

Team sources said that Quinn and the team made the decision together earlier today. Sources say that not only has the break in his right index finger worsened, but it is also starting to injure the tendons as well.

Derek Anderson will return as starter. Quinn met with renowned doctor James Andrews and the Browns brought in specialists as well.

A team source said that all agreed that Quinn needed to shut it down before the tendons tore from the bone.
Yeah..Be prepared for an Easy W in week 17

I kinda hope Anderson comes out and wins a few to silence the management(aka fans).

I have to reply to you ......oh great master! The Browns have sunk to the point of "no return". Our team is quite seasoned now. It has come to the point that we do not even know our own team ,or, who will be starting the next game. The coaches know what we have. Everyone in that locker-room,has got to step up now!!!!

I don't think the stains will make the playoffs now.

Damnit, I was hoping Quinn would be able to tough it out so Harrison and Woodley could play Kill The QB on the last game of the season with him.

Basically I feel Anderson is a legit qb in this league and has got the shaft for "Pretty Boy Quinn" I hate seeing the Browns win but I love seeing their fans up in arms over dumb stuff.
