I can not wait to watch this game! I give a slight edge to OK mainly because they are playing at home. This will be a good test for Texas Tech( esp. their defense). Texas and Oklahoma States offenses aren't nearly as explosive as Oklahomas. TT biggest game up to this point was against Texas and that was at home. I am anxious to see how they do on the road against very tough competition.

I get the feeling lots of folks are taking Oklahoma in this game...that's making me lean toward Texas Tech.
Just have a feeling, they are better then people are giving them credit for. I think if they win this game against the Sooners, they could actually jump over Bama to the number 1 spot in the BCS.

I have Oklahoma taking this after final review. But no doubt should TT win they deserve #1. This will be their what, 3rd victory over a top 5 team? And they've beaten #1 already.
Oklahoma and Florida are playing the best football in the country right now...TT beating them pretty much (in my book) makes them THE team to beat.

Florida should be automatically disqualified from any National Title talk due to the fact they are playing the Citadel this weekend. That right there should disqualify them from claiming any rights at all to a title.

For me it is not a case of hating Alabama( I have nothing personal against them), but more a case of the other teams I have mentioned being more deserving. IF TT beats Oklahoma that would have been their 3rd victory over a top 5 team and they did beat the Longhorns who were ranked #1 at the time. The level of competition TT has faced is far and above that of Alabama. |

I like Texas Tech and hope they beat OU on Saturday, but I don't see it happening since the game is in Norman. Texas Tech has proven that they can win the big game at home, but they've yet under Mike Leach to go on the road and win somewhere like Norman or Austin against a high quality opponent. |

I can't wait for this game. I would love to see TT run the table and play in the BCS title game.

A) Agree about the Citadel thing. That's shameful (and I don't care WHAT the excuse is..."bye weeks" should occur in the month of September ONLY). Florida will be forced to run the score up, too, so they don't risk being jumped.
B) Alabama has not played much of a schedule, and they've let bad teams hang around more than once. They are not a dominant football team. If they hang with UF I'll give them credit, but it just seems unlikely. C) This OU TT game should be spectacular. 2 of the 3 best teams in the Country right now. (Sorry, UF is 3rd, not Bama)
