We just played 2 of the best teams in the NFL and lost to them...the Bears are a nice football team, with a good defense, and we played a great game, but, let's keep things in perspective. The Bears are a .500 team, or slightly better, in the AFC. And we beat them up as we should have, but the nice thing I saw today was the team that was 7-2 (8-1 minus the *Maddox Game) back on the field. If this team shows up for the next 3 games, we're 11-5 and a team nobody will want to play in the playoffs (provided we make them).
What great football weather today. I took a bunch of pictures and will post them tomorrow... |

They beat a winning team regardless of "what the Bears were made of", which is so important for the team psyche. With 3 games remaining against "managable" teams we should control our own destiny since SD is losing right now.
Although the Vikings are in the same situation we're in so they will be playing hard. |

A win is a win is a win.. we had to have and we came out and dominated in the way we should have. Had we lost this game the season would be basically in the tank even w/ SD and KC losing and the criticsm would be at an all time high..
This is just the next step in our turnaround!!

Well Suit, you obviously don't live in Illinois.
The Bears are freakin' awesome and if they wouldn't have played their worst game of the season; if they would have tackled some guys and stayed in position; if the terrible field conditions wouldn't have taken away their defensive speed advantage; if Rex Grossman would have played; if they wouldn't have missed an extra point; if they would have had both starting safeties; if my aunt had a dick; if blah, blah, blah, blah!!!! I've heard it all from my Bears fans buddies and the radio guys I had to listen to, today. All I'm hearing from those guys is that Chicago lost a game that didn't really matter to a team that was fighting for its playoff life. Well, B.S. The Steelers came out and smoked the "second best team" in the NFC and they did it through good ol' fashioned Steelers football. Look, you know and I know, and you know I know, and I know you know, and we all freakin' know that Chicago isn't very good. But what do we know? Nothing. Everybody in the world, which ends just outside of Chicago, knows that the Bears lost it. Whatever. Yeah, the Bears aren't all that great but to parrot the company line, "A win is a win," and you know what? Hopefully we can end another NFC North winning streak next Sunday. Here we go Steelers. Here we go! |

Definately agree. We need to keep everything at an even level. I was very impressed with our running game. I didn't think we would run the ball that well on the Bears D. Brian Urlacher is a beast, and is very fast!

Who really cares who is the best, we lost to one of the worst (ratbirds) remember? We beat one of the "best" (Bungles) remember? All the matters is we keep winning, KC loses another one, we get as healthy as possible to make our playoff run.

Hey, all I'm saying is, the Bengals beat us, their fans seemed to think they were going to be perennial Super Bowl champs off that one game, and they probably should have lost to the Browns yesterday. If the Steelers get complacent, and think yesterdays win was bigger than it was, they will be upset next week in Minnesota. I don't mean to bring anybody down, I'm just "Keepin' it real"...
