Default quick QB comparison

since i've seen alot of you guys calling romo garbage. Which is utterly asinine.
so here is a quick season comparison..

how about some career stats? since both have been starters

Romo
G I CMP I ATT I PCT I YDS I AVG I TD I INT I RATE
35 I 747 I 1157 I 64.6 I 9673 I 8.4 I 76 I 40 I 98.2

ROTHY
G I CMP I ATT I PCT I YDS I AVG I TD I INT I RATE
42 I 752 I 1216 I 61.8 I 9079 I 7.4 I 63 I 46 I 86.5

Obviously since Romo has come into the league he has been vastly superior to Big Ben. there is not 1 single stat that Ben out performs Romo in, despite having had 7 more games then Romo.. shall i go on and put game averages those are even more brutal...

and go on, i know exactly what you are going to say.. he hasn't won a playoff game yet.. and he has started a whole 2 seasons... they said the same about Peyton Manning.. do you think people will look back at his career and say, yeah but it took him a few years to finally win a playoff game.. ofcourse not..stop using an argument that could only be relevant if his career were over already.. if he finishes his career with 0 playoff wins, then it means something, until then, don't count the chicks before they hatch.. it took Edison a bunch of tries before he got the light bulb right.. he musta been a crappy inventor huh... rothy will try to win as many SBs as he can, and so will romo.. we can count them up when their careers are over, pointless as of now. the playoff win argument holds as much wait as me saying before the 70s the steelers had 0 Superbowl trophies..

Romo is in his 3rd year as a starter. Ben had a SB ring and 4 playoff game victories under his belt by his 3rd year without the benefit of being able to carry a clipboard and ease into the position for 3 years+ beforehand. 'Nuff said. And stop posting these smack threads in the regular forum - we have a Blast Furnace.

Does Romo have a ring? No

Does Ben have T.O., MB III, Roy Williams, Jason Witten and one of the largest offensive lines in the league? No

That's really all that needs to be said. Ben Roethlisberger has done more with half the weapons Tony Romo has.

About the only thing Ben has going for him over Romo is that he has a better defense.

Oh, and Roethlisberger is a football player before celebrity, not the other way around.

Cold hard facts:

Ben: 4 playoff games wins (3 on the road) and 1 SB ring.

Romo: jack squat.

Come talk to me when Romo does something in the postseason besides choke his ass off, K?

Why post numbers since romo's been a starter?

you're basically eliminating 2 great years by ben

overall, he's better

I do not agree however with those who say Romo sucks. Reminds me of ben when he makes plays out of nothing
