Default Origin of the Name of the Steeler's Awesome City!!!

I was just outlining for history and it says that:

-The English took over the French fort at the Forks of Ohio, and renamed it to Fort Pitt! This fort is now Pittsburgh today. We should do that to Ohio now!

-The name Pitt comes from the Prime Minister of England at the time, William Pitt.

:D

It's where Roethlisbergers spaceship landed before he was found my travelers in Ohio that took him back to be raised as their own son - until he found out that his powers are only good in Black and Gold!

A guess: an archeological dig of some sort? Seems they might be more... I dunno... neat... about it, if it were that, though.
