Bills vs Jets
I am watching this game and the Jets just ran a play that worked beautifully! They lined up in the "I" formation on 3rd and one, Brett faked the hand-off and ran around the left side of the line for a BIG gain( there was NO ONE there, the whole defense was basically up on the line of scrimmage). It was a beautiful play! One I wish Pittsburgh would run more often. Ben has good mobility and would most likely pick up a decent gain on a play like that...at the very least make the first down. The Bills are in for a LONG DAY.

He wouldn't get as banged up as he does standing in the pocket taking hit after hit. Brett picked up the first down and more and just ran outta bounds..no one touched him. Plus our running game is having trouble picking up short yardage. Remember that great goal line stop by the Cowboys last week? We tried running the ball...didn't work out so well, did it? What is wrong with having Ben run a bootleg near the goal line or on 3rd and short?? Better than having him get sacked. He has less of a chance getting injured that way then he does just standing there waiting to be hit.

The Jets are getting next to nothing of a pass rush, Losman has ALL DAY to throw. Bills aren't much good on D either. They can't stop the run at all.
Brett just threw another interception. Just when he has his team on the move he does it AGAIN. |
