Thumbs down Hockey is dead to me now...

I was never a huge hockey fan, but I do follow the pens as a novice. What in the world is up with the NHL...can ya bring the sport back AT ALL..or do you wanna keep on being pricks about it!!!

I never would have thought that a major sports industry could not exist and nobody care like in hockey. But since we are willing to talk about other sports with no more Steelers to watch on Sunday...I guess I can talk all sports.

I hate how in baseball, basketball, and hockey that they are afraid to address all those extra meaningless games. Case in point. The regular hockey season had just the right amount of games until recently when if they had gotten a deal done could have been shortened to 25 regular season games and then the playoffs. Oh yeah, that would be some great hockey. Just stay shut down, get your act together, then come back for real.

Can Mario and the Penguins afford this strike?? I thought he mentioned last year that if the strike ended the entire season he would have to sell, outside of Pittsburgh. Can`t stand hockey right now, cause of the strike, but don`t want to lose the Pens.

this definately affects the smaller market teams much more. they have problems making ends meet when there isnt a strike, let alone when something like this happens.
