A good night in Nashville tonight...

So, I got a call from a friend w/ hotel connections (she works concierge), and found out where the Steelers are staying. We got downtown and parked at just the right time. We got out of the car, and I heard the "woop woop" of a siren, and was like, I bet that's them arriving! Sure enough, there was the police escort.. We got to the entrance where others already were, and right away, I was like, holy crap, thats Mr Rooney! The Rooneys got off the bus with the players. I would have expected them to roll up in a limo I guess! But then all the players started filing off of 3 buses. I've never been so close to the guys! Of course they all just made their way in to the hotel, and didn't really acknowledge all of us, but it was still great! I saw Hines, Troy, Bettis is here too, I saw Jeff Reed, Matt Spaeth, Farrior, Ben walked in in front of Troy, and I missed him, because Casey Hampton was coming from the other direction, and he walked right past me, touching distance. Dad was like, Hey Casey!! He just kind of nodded. So after all of them went in, we went and had some drinks in the bar hoping some of them might come out, but they never did. They went into team meetings. So we went to Piranha's and hung out for a bit, which is usually a Steelers bar here. They actually had a Steelers Country flag up outside! After a bit, we went to Hooters, and walking the street there were SO many Steelers fans outside, and then when we got inside I would guess a good 70/30 ratio of Steelers to Titans fans. We even got a good Here We Go going at one point! It was AWESOME!! I am so stoked for tomorrow!! This is temporarily Nashburgh LOL GO STEELERS :-)

Wow. Cool news there. Hopefully Pitt doesn't party too hard and takes care of business against the Tacks, lol.
