Default Steelers vs Browns Poem (12/28/08)

Last Sunday afternoon the Browns came to Heinz Field
The Steelers position in the playoffs was already sealed

The Browns would have liked to send us to the playoffs with a loss
And that might have even saved the job for their boss

Romeo Crennel vs. the Steelers would soon be 0-8
Even if the beginning didn’t start out so great

We went on for awhile with no points on the board
Because a penalty negated it when Nate Washington scored

Every game has drama and this one’s would soon start
As we all watched Big Ben taken off on a cart

For about 15 minutes a silence fell over the crowd that day
Till Ben gave a thumbs up and hopefully everything would be okay

Ben is a warrior; a tough one no doubt
He may be down but he’s most definitely not out

Byron Leftwich would take over like he’s done a few times before
On this day he would even run in for a score

Yes this may have only been a game against the Browns
But we saw a fullback again and 3 rushing touchdowns

Also Tyrone Carter was the man of the day
Everywhere you turned he was making a play

We won 31-0; a real convincing win
As the season ends and the playoffs begin

We got the bye so this weekend there will be no stress
Who we’ll play next is anyone’s guess

Dolphins, Colts, or Chargers - it doesn’t matter at all
We’re ready to play some more January football!

Seeing this bum cut would really be nice
I'm sick of watching this fat turnstile with legs
Please, Steelers front office, draft a real RT instead
I hope never to see Colon ever start again
He deserves a life working at Burger King with Sean Mahan

Or if flippin' burgers isn't the fat fooker's thing,
He can always clean toilets at WalMart with Justin Hartwig.

Nice job SGTN7!
