Arizona with their shitty defense is showing exactly why the STEELERS need to fix the problem we have with running the play clock down near zero on every play. When the defense can anticipate the snap the way Arizona has done today, it gives them a big advantage. Pittsburgh has given this advantage over to the opposing defense and is one of the problems we have with our running game and sacks. When the defense can see that clock hit 4-3-2... they get a jump they would not normally have if we just mixed it up and got the play off quicker.
Is it BA not getting the plays in quick enough? Is it because Ben is making adjustments at the line? Is it because the offense just is not quick enough after the play is called in? Whatever it is, it needs to get fixed quick. ![]() ![]()

Arizona did not anticipate the snap many times in a row like the announcers were saying.
That doesn't work in football unless the quarterback and coach on the other team are extremely stupid and don't notice them jumping the snap and then put the play "on 2" or on "ready" etc. |

Are you kidding? Arizona jumped that snap count most of the game. It gave them a huge advantage and is the sole reason their defense was doing so much better than they had all season. It was because of the sound but is the same reason why the STEELERS need to work on getting the ball off before the clock winds down and the defense can jump.

This is another thing that drives me nuts with the offense.

The offensive issues are everywhere. From play calls, QB, to recievers running the wrong routes sometimes, to the oline sucking. The offense is horrible. And even with that, its ok. Its stupid mistakes that the steelers must not make in the playoffs, if they play conservative, they will be able to win it all, like the 2000 ravens and 2002 Bucs.
Then fix the problems in the off season with some o-lineman and a better offensive coord..... |

![]() and for those who playing conservative in the playoffs works...................that will be a disaster,,,,,,,,,go for the jugular............the only big thing the Steelers need to change is Ben doing a lot of quick hitter passing as opposed to hanging onto the ball.................often way way too long |

They mentioned this during Colts/Bolts were Manning started sanpping the ball around 10 secs left in nplay clock as perhaps the Chargers had a read o snap count and were disgusing their D until last minute before shifting.
