The RoethlisBURGER is ground beef, sausage, scrambled eggs & american cheese...

What should a LeftWICH be?

Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs seem far too relevant now.

Byron's should have slow pork (because he's... well.. slow), pickled eggs (because they have good shelf life), Swiss cheese (because it's a hard cheese and it melts well.. just like Byron swung into the offense), and a pickle (because he's just like a cucumber who got a second chance to be part of a great franchise).

Glad to have you, Byron... your sandwich tastes TERRIBLE.

Hahaha I like that. Hmmmm.... I'm into food >< particularly sandwiches and such haha... I'll have a go.

Let's examine: Byron Leftwich - what do we know about him?

He's a big guy like Ben... So the sandwich should be big.

He went to Marshall... Could we gather anything from that? Maybe add something of cultural impact or importance from that area to the mix.

He was a first round bust... I mean, pick. Sooooo the sandwich should be made with only the utmost of quality ingredients.

I would describe his personality as subtly spicy... Let's add pepperoni.

Ben is the big cheese or whatever right? lol. Let's put provolone or Swiss on Byron's sandwich to mix it up.

How about a burger on the sandwich topped with the pepperoni and provolone just to give it mass.

I would say... Throw it all in between two pieces of Texas toast style garlic bread.

So there ya go, what I would make the LeftWICH.

A burger topped with pepperoni and provolone cheese between two thick pieces of garlic bread. A somewhat odd, big, nasty and simple sandwich.

(On a side note, my taste is what most people would describe as bland and a little different. Crushzilla's evaluation of Byron's skill as it would portray to a sandwich is probably much more appealing than my own.)

I've seen the Roethlisburger in many different ways living here in the Burgh. Most of them are very good! There is a place down the road from me called Brentwood Station and they charbroil all of their burgers - no matter what the weather.

Hmmmm - a LeftWICH. Since Lefty is big and strong like bull - I think it should be some sort of steak sandwich - maybe with melted Pepper Jack, grilled onions and shrooms, tomato and some A-1 on top on a ciabatta roll.
