Why the hate on Ray?

Yeah ... Ravens fan here. Sure, I understand the rivalry and all, but I can say as much as Hines Ward annoys the crap out of me I'd want him on my team in a heartbeat. As for Ray, the guy has been a great player for a LONG time, he's done nothing but the right things since the "incident," and he's a great teammate and mentor for young players around the league - not just Ravens.

I see all these comments disparaging the guy on this board, why??? And even comments on his playing ability which is just silly. He still stuffs the run up the middle better than anybody, although the sideline to sideline speed isn't what it was.

I know a lot of people hate Ray, but I honestly love him as a player (which means I hate him because he's so good) and wish we had player like him.

High intensity guys are fun to watch and make the whole team better, and he's the definition of high intensity.

First because he is a Raven, don't have many respect for them, and he is a murderer and got away with it.

1. He had his hand in two murders. He's not guilty but paid restitustion to the families of the victims? Last I checked, innocent people don't pay restitustion.

2. He plays for the Ravens, 'nuff said there.

3. He claims to be "God's Linebacker" but with the language he uses on the field, I highly doubt God would want His linebacker to use it. He's a hypocrite, plain and simple.

Three reasons:

(1) He should be breaking rocks in a prison yard;

(2) He gets and takes credit for tackles he doesn't make;

(3) I'm sick to death of listening to every single commentator in every single Rats game slobbin' his knob. Ed Reed trumps him a zillion times over and doesn't get mentioned a quarter as much.

Good enough?
