I have to travel to Silver Spring, MD tomorrow to do an estimate... NOT looking forward to it.. I am gonna be driving my Black jeep that has a steelers license plate holder & steelers fuzzy dice.. lol

Maybe I can stop at the local walmart or whatever & see if there is some cheezy ravens stuff I can pick up to burn or hang at the tailgate on Sunday

If you are there long enough, cut back up into Baltimore and off of Washington St is a bar called the Purple Goose. It's a Black and Gold Fan Club that covers a long distance down 270 and 70. But the headquarters is in the heart of ratbird country!! Not far from the nest the ratbirds play in.

That should give you enough juice to get through a day in the area!!

Silver Spring is closer to DC - there are probably more Redskins fans out there who are now on the Raisins bandwagon lol You'll see plenty of Steelers Nation reprezentin' out on the Beltway

(though it's always wise to remove the Steelers paraphernalia from your vehicle when parking anywhere in Baltimore)

Yeppers... it was really pretty much DC... but still.. it is pretty close & you would expect some fans

Here is the extent of the Ravens stuff I saw
- The place where I got a bagel this AM had a sign up that said "Ravens fans.. order your purple bagels"
- The K-Mart had a ravens tin with popcorn in it.. THAT IS IT for Ravens merchandise... no flags, no footballs, no hats...
- The mall I was in last night had ZERO Ravens stuff... although they have a really bad case of Obama-Fever... Obama hats, Obama T-shirt, Obama poster, Obama clocks, etc. etc

In the meantime one of the post offices I was in had a lady working at it wearing a Steelers shirt... I stopped her & showed her pictures of my trip to the Hines Ward show and from the Chargers game that I had saved on my phone... she was lovin' it.. she said she started wearing her Steelers stuff everyday to work since the Steelers made the playoffs...

I walked around the Trader Joes this AM with my Steelers bag & didn't even get a second look...

Oh.. and for those who didn't know already... ALL the electronic signs on the PA Turnpike now blink between two messages:

The first blinked message says:
GO STEELERS
GO EAGLES

The second blinked message says:
TURNPIKE SUPERBOWL
DRIVE SAFELY
