That would be intense!
I bet if you asked fans across the country to donate $$ to move the game, that it would happen. Everyone in Steeler nation donates $5, and Eagles fans, wow!

Rendell is from Philly and he makes no bonz about being an Eagles fan.
I think it's a great idea, but the Bungles have a better chance of winning a Super Bowl sometime in the next century before Fatso's idea would happen. In addition to paying Tampa $10 - $15 million, Fat Eddie probably had ownership of a Dunkin Donuts thrown in to the deal.

I always thought that State College would be an ideal place to play, possibly, a preseason game between the Eagles and Steelers...would pack that place.

i think Beaver Stadium would be PERFECT! i mean, it makes it accesible to everyone who is a MAJOR fan of those two teams. how many PA folk are actually going to Tampa? ticket prices are insane, for flights and the game. i hate this whole "it's gotta be played in warm weather." well, guess what? IF the Steelers and the Eagles make it...neitherone of those teams always plays in warm weather. so, why not give it a shot!? it's just too bad Tampa wouldn't go for it and there would be a HUGE loss in merchandise sale with all the items and articles of clothing that reads Super Bowl XLIII TAMPA, FL!!!
so, it's all about money! it's be sick...but it's never happen even if we wanted it too. ha!

it's be great if it was a rematch of the Super Bowl. you can fit 100,000 people in that place...it'd sell out and it'd be a great GREAT experience. well put dude. =)

While I applaud Rendell for the idea, it will never happen. I doubt we will ever see a Super Bowl played in the NE region. Besides let's make no bone about it, Rendell is a big time Eagles fan and that is the ONLY reason he is suggesting it.
