Default Ryan Clark

Hey guys i was just wondering something...I had never really heard of ryan clark before we picked him up in free agency and i have a question, was he always this dangerous of a hitter?? Sunday was the 2nd time he hit somebody so hard, he even injured himself. Is this the way ryan clark has always played the game, or is this something the steelers somehow embedded in him?

You got to love the guy, this guy goes ALL OUT. Receivers beware!

I never really remember him hitting this viciously before - but I think it's an infectious thing we have team wide. We were out hit and weren't the toughest team on the field last year... Clearly they wanted to change that this year and have done an awesome job!

He laid some good licks on people while in Washington. However he played alongside Sean Taylor who got all the press.

But I really think it's become infectious among the entire team, not just the defense. The entire team wants to outhit the opponent.

Clark absolutely obliterated Chris Henry in 2006. That was the best hit I'd seen since Gary Jones jacked up Don Beebe.

I saw Clark play in college and don't remember him as a big time hitter. But he's certainly been laying the wood since he got here.

Just a beast...Nothin gets respect more than being a hard hitter.

He had 2 big hits in the game. He laid out the WR and McGahee.
