Sure like someone said anyone can get rattled. But Ben is tough as nails.I don't know how many times I've seen him take nasty shots, get grimacing in pain, only to throw a rope for 40+ yards.

It doesn't seem like he gets rattled, so much as certain games he just makes mistakes from the start. Thankfully, that's not too often, and he usually does enough to keep us in the game.

Come to think of it, I can't recall a single game this year where we didn't have a chance to win right until the very end. You can't say that about a season too often.

Ben can be forced into mistakes just like any QB at certain times but lately he has been money with his throws and on target.
I do think he was rattled in the first Ravens game since our O was stuck in such a funk and he was tired of beeing booed at home. Good thing is that most times he gets rattled or makes a msitake he just shakes it off and moves on as good as any QB I have ever seen.

Ben has a 7-2 playoff record and over 50 victories in his first 5 seasons. Rattle on Ben!

Sure Ben makes a mistake here and there like all NFL QB's do, but I can't say that I'd call that "being rattled". The guy is amazingly poised back there, even when the OL wasn't doing their jobs for most of the season, and almost always found a way to make a play, sometimes even when going down or headed out of bounds to avoid a hit. Big Ben is fearless. You may see frustration in his eyes once in a blue moon, but you'll never see fear.

Kurt can be rattled too.

91 career fumbles, 40 lost. 11 Fumbles this season, 7 lost. 14 ints on the season as well. We need him to make 3 mistakes this game and it should be over.

The Cards fans are desperate for hope, so they'll pretty much make-up any kind of nonsense at this point to cling to.

The media also needs compelling story lines so people will watch/care about this blow-out, and we all know sticking to the truth and facts will not be a determining factor in creating those story lines.

We need the offense to take advantage of those 3 mistakes too. The last thing the Steelers need to do is give the cardinals hope by halftime. My choice - put a foot on their throat and stomp on it. Then on the second half, snap it!

I think sometimes his behavior that's "cautious" is seen as him being rattled... since he tends to be more of a risk taker, vs. say other QB's, when he behaves more cautious in his choices and decisions I think people think he's fearful or rattled - I think it's just like a game of chess to him, he looks for the best way to get the job done with little error if he can help it... sometimes it works for him, sometimes it doesn't in the end he does what he does best... takes a chance, waits a bit longer to make the play, steps outside of the safe zone.

I guess it's obvious I think he's an amazing player, but that's besides the point... if he's rattled.. .he certainly doesn't show it...

(I get more rattled watching him.... I hold my breathe so much before he throws that I am surprised I don't pass out!)
