These taste a lot like a Heath candy bar! They are VERY addicting.
1 tube of saltine crackers 1 cup butter 1 cup sugar 1 (12 oz) pkg. milk chocolate morsels -Preheat oven to 350 -Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil-spray with cooking spray -Put crackers over foil in a single layer-set aside -In a medium sauce pan combine butter and sugar, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a gentle lazy, surface boil for 3 mins. Stirring constantly. -Remove from heat and pour over crackers -Bake for 10 mins. until golden brown -Remove from oven and straighten any crackers that have shifted -Immediately sprinkle the morsels on top- let stand about 2 or 3 mins- then spread the chocolate around until smooth. -Cool on wire rack and then place in fridge -Remove and break into pieces -Store in fridge You can add nuts to these if you wish..or use peanut butter/milk chocolate swirled morsels( makes it taste like a Reeses Cup). ENJOY!
