To be honest guys, we have yet to see James Harrison at his best. i think he will even improve his game for the next 2-3 years. Just wait, he will get even better if that is even possible....

Mama always told me that the quiet ones are the ones to keep a close eye on and from my own life experiences, she wasn't too far off base. Sounds like Silverback is getting it together and is definitely on a mission, both in his personal and professional lives.

Good read, mesa!

I was a Joey Porter fanatic and aside from playoff losses that was one of my most heartbreaking days a steeler fan, I just couldnt imagine him not wearing black and gold.

Ill never forget Joey. However harrison has definately made a pile of new memories and i feel all in all is a better fit in our scheme.

Coca Cola should do another commercial that mimics the Joe Greene commercial with Harrison.

Marbe he'll get SB MVP and he can just glare at the camera when they say "What are you going to do next?"

Terrific article, thanks! It's nice to know he's so reserved when he could easily go the other way & play up the celebrity angle of it all.

Being MVP means nothing unless they win the SB. Now being MVP and having a SB win in the same season is something special. Otherwise, all those sacks and tackles are just Marino-like statistics.

Who cares who wins the battle in fantasy football. Even the players and especially the good ones don't even care about stats. Just wins and losses.

Im pretty sure whenever you lost all your scholarship offers, didnt get drafted, got cut from the ratbirds, cut from the steelers, resigned by the steelers in all honesty to fill a roster spot. Then realize your oppurtunity work your ass off and become a premier linebacker in the nfl. IMO the best. A little recognition is nice. I imagine James harrison isnt to worried about the trophy however and will play his ass of like he does every game. Its not like they guy is in the 10 year of his Career and never played for a team that got it done like Marino. So that is not even a close comparison.
