there was an article that was in the post gazette, i believe, that asked that very same question. even the team has been saying that he hasnt been around much at all except an occasional drop in during practice. they said that batch and sepulveda are there almost every meeting and every practice but their 1st round draft pick has pretty much disappeared. Mendenhall was on the sidelines last weekend. I saw him helping Parker put on his parka when the O came off the field. Give the kid a chance....I think he is gonna be special.

Agreed there is no need to throw him under the wagon he has barley had a chance to even play.

Exactly. And I am with you in thinking Mendenhall will be a special RB for us.

I'm not saying he's a bust, I'm just saying where the hell has he been? You got all the other injured-reserve guys like Batch and Sepulveda around all the time. Sepulveda is just a punter and you don't see him slacking at all.

I don't think anyone's writing him off as a bust. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be one of those guys with an attitude where the defining moment of his career is having his house shown on "Cribs" and starting his own rap label.
