Default Roethlisberger with the Flu?

There are people posting all over the internet that Roethlisberger is out with the flu. I haven't seen anything on ESPN so I certainly hope this is just a web rumor. Does anyone have any other info?

Every super bowl a player gets the sniffles and then all these rumors start.

Actually, there is a rumor he retired and isn't going to play anymore. Damn, its too bad, we couldn't have him for just one more game.

He went with Elvis to his home planet. Apparently it's a once in a lifetime guided tour and Ben decided the SB can wait.

I thought he was playing with broken ribs?

Craziest thing.... I had a dream on Friday night about the game, and Leftwich was playing QB.

Roethlisberger is 'gonna be fine'

Ben Roethlisberger - QB - PIT - Feb. 1 - 10:04 am et ESPN's John Clayton confirms that Ben Roethlisberger "is gonna be fine" for Sunday's Super Bowl matchup.
Roethlisberger, who is not on the injury report despite having an X-ray on his rib last week, will start. He will probably put up 25-32 attempts in the game. The Cardinals' pass defense surrendered an NFL-most 36 passing TDs during the regular season. The next closest (New England) gave up 27. Feb. 1 - 10:04 am et
