Tradition Weekend?
I had mentioned this in the post about Detroit possibly loing their tradtional Thanksgiving day game. What if that whole week was tradition week?? Have all the top rivalries play each other and every team to wear throwback uniforms?? What made me think of this is back a few years ago they used to wear throwbacks on the turkey day games and the NFL.com site had all the old logos up on there in place of the current ones. The Cfl does something to this degree and its a major success. Just another way to respect the history and tradition of the NFL.

I like the idea of Tradition/Rivalry Week.
We should go even further than throwbacks--the Bengals should be the Reds, the Rams should be the Gunners, etc. Find the oldest team in each city. |
