Redoubt volcano continues to rumble

Residents of the Anchorage,Alaska area are preparing for a possible eruption of the Redoubt Volcano.
Scientists from the Alaska Volcano Observatory have issued a warning that an eruption was imminent.
Mount Redoubt is located approx. 120 miles southwest of Anchorage.

If this eruption is as strong or stronger than the 1991 Mt. Pinatubo one, the entire planet will suffer. Global temperatures plunged 1 degree for a year following the Pinatubo eruption, and the ash and sulfur ejected into the atmosphere from that one remained for 2 to 3 years.

If this happens with Mt. Redoubt, Al Gore might have to find a new line of work.
