So it seems Mayfield was on Methamphetamine. METHAMPHETAMINE. I honestly don't know what to say.

If this is what he was on then he deserves what he gets he knows the rules.

its about time for kurt bush to quit playing mr. nice guy.

JJ punts him last week for nothing more than being in the top 5 in points and a threat to win the race, and today, jeff gordon is threatening to punt him for driving him too hard on the new double file restarts, being in the top 5 in points, and (again) a threat to win the race.

wah.

with JJ and JG up front, its just a matter of time.

bush should revert back in time and take notes from his brother. being "gentlemanly" gets you nowhere. until then he is a sitting duck.

joey legano becomes youngest cup series winner in history (surpassing kyle bush) at the age of 19. im no huge gibbs fan, but what he has accomplished in the nfl and nascar is quite impressive. he's definitely got a nose for talent. congrats to the kid.

nice "nudge" gordon gave kurt bush in the post race interviews. i didnt get to hear what JJ had to say but i was glad to see bush get loose, and nearly put him into the wall by simply holding his ground and saving the car. im sure JJ was whining too loudly to even be put on camera. oh well.

heres to next week. cant wait for the firecracker 400 (even though i will have to watch it on delay).

Bill Weber gets the boot - won't be back.
Some may rejoice...

Bill Weber will not be part of TNT's NASCAR coverage of the Cup Series for the network's last two races.

Ralph Sheheen will handle play-by-play duties for The Coke Zero 400 in Daytona and the LifeLock.com 400 from Chicagoland.

Sheheen will be calling the races alongside analysts Kyle Petty and Wally Dallenbach in the booth

Mayfield suspension lifted

A judge has lifted Jeremy Mayfield's suspension, saying the driver should be allowed to race. U.S. District Court Judge Graham Mullen says "the court finds the harm to Mr. Mayfield significantly outweighs any harm to NASCAR."

i hated weber, which is why i wouldnt watch the races on tnt. wonder what he did to get the boot though? i heard something about him getting into a shouting match with someone at his hotel on friday night.

manny, moe, and jack always sucked on tnt. kyle petty is an upgrade, but he gets lost in the dullness of wally and weber.

i dont see how sheheen helps.

buddy baker had the most horrible TV voice ever. i sure miss the days of him calling races.

the booth definitely misses benny parsons, and if fox isnt calling the races, desperately needs r. wallace.
