Default Teachers...

Okay, so I'd like to give a shout out to all of our teachers on here. Me mum's a teacher, and let me tell you, you have a fun job!

So to all the teachers on this forum, collegiate, gradeschool, or otherwise, here's a big thank you for doing what you do! :

(Given that I haven't been the nicest chap recently, sending out some good mojo couldn't be a bad thing)

Teachers are not only underpaid, they're not given near enough respect and appreciation for all they do for our children/grandchildren.

Years ago, I dated a teacher for quite a while and never knew all teachers did not only during breaks, but during the summer months while off. Their days don't end when they leave the school at 3-4 PM - there were many nights and weekends where he would tape shows off the Discover channel that he incorporated into his lesson plans or felt the kids might be interested in and he spent countless hours grading papers and trying to come up with new and exciting ideas to stimulate his kids to reach beyond their goals.

Thank you to all of you teachers, profs and principals out there who play such vital role in educating and mentoring our kids and grandkids! I think you rock!

Yeah, my mum teaches special education, takes a real saint.

I gotta say though, some of those kids are pure gold. Challenged, but can be incredible.
