Damn, I thought he was a locker room cancer that was bad for the Browns. Oh well, they still have Braylon.

Considering Winslow is one of their more consistent players but was done in by their poor hygene, this is surprising.
And to think, they could've had Ben in 2004... |

Heard that earlier this morning on ESPN. Can't say it surprises me. Good job Cleveland, trade your best player.

I have in no way any disagreement for Winslow bashing the Shitstains for the staph infection he received, and how they tried to keep him quiet about it, Matter of fact when they said he wouldnt disclose it it would be either he got the HIV or a staph infection. lol

Well, he pretty much wrote his own ticket out of town and tampa is perfect for him. I mean he played college ball in fl. and you can ride a motorcycle all year long there.

I want to know what we got back in return for him before I can really chime in on this.
It's multiple picks...and I'm pretty confident a 1st rounder isn't one of them. However, a 2nd and a 3rd (or 4th) shouldn't be out the door. If Rucker can step up and perform...then it might not be so bad. I know we needed draft picks in a bad sort of way as our former GM pretty much cleaned house before he left. At least our Current GM is looking to build a team through the draft.

I'd be psyched if I was a Browns fan. 2009 season might be kind of a wash, but you're sending a damn strong message to the rest of the team by dropping the attention...lovers (curses profanity filter!). By the 2010 draft you'll probably have 17 picks in 2 years, much better than the 5 you got in 2008
![]() Winslow got a crappy deal, but he also responded to it poorly. No real winners there. |
