Wall above my desk....
Here's a pic of the wall above my desk. My third Wille Stargell figure arrived today. The left one was sold at the 2006 All Star game held in Pittsburgh. It is one of 3,000 made. The middle figure has a rare uniform. The third one arrived today.
 I look up at those figures and remember when baseball was important to me as a kid. Stargell was my hero. He was larger than life to me. Those teams of the late 70's were great. Man oh man... It breaks my heart that baseball has been a joke in Pittsburgh for nearly 2 decades. Oh well... Many times a day as I sit here at my desk, I kick back the chair and stare up at this wall. It nearly always brings a smile to my face.

Not a baseball fan at all, but I want get one of those hats with Pirates' "P" on it. Just because what that means 2 the city.

I remember Willie Stargell from when I was a kid, too & used to watch the Pirates with my Grampap, or listen to the games on the radio when we played cards at the kitchen table.
