Wood I can see, but who will replace him?

DeRosa needs to stay...he's a jack of all trades, can play just about every position, and has started hitting. In fact, he's batting .277 and has a second-on-the-team best slugging % of .470.

DeRosa is a jack of alltrades but with Peralta moved to 3rd and Cabera at SS and Valbuena at 2nd where is he gonna play? Wedge has this team all screwed up. I read that LaPorta is gonna be called up to play 1b not OF. We need a solid everyday lineup not having 8 guys that play multiple postions. When Grady gets healthy Fransico needs to go to Columbus. This is the way the lineup should look in a few weeks

Sizemore CF
DeRosa LF
Martinez 1B
Choo RF
Peralta 3B
Hafner DH
Shoppach C
Cabera 2B
Valbeuno SS

Garko needs to be the 1B when Martinez is catching and not in the outfield.

A) The only players producing right now are: Lee, Pavano, Martinez, Choo, and DeRosa.
B) Shoppach strikes out every 2.6 times at bat.
C) We need Grady back

I guess they are still in play, but ONLY because the Central sucks so bad.

They are actually hitting pretty well, but the pitching situation is pretty abysmal. They need fixed in that department, and then they'll need to go on a real tear if they want to make the post-season. At least it's better than the old days, where after the June swoon they were already practically mathematically eliminated....

If we get something decent from the pen with the way we are hitting its realistic we might be turning this sinking ship around.

Just read Grady is activited off the DL and Sipp has been recalled. Crowe was sent back to Columbus and Vizcaino was designated.
