Given the "quasi - redshirt" years and NOT looking at SWEED's drops where would they rank in the positional rankings for 2009?
Last year's RB's were so strong but in 2009 would Mendy be the 1st RB pick taken? j |

Beanie Wells 2008 Stats
Carries- 207 Yards-1197 TDs-8 AVG-5.8 Rashard Mendenhall-2007 Stats Carries-262 Yards-1681 TDs-17 AVG-6.4 Even if you look at them the Beanie's 07 year to compare them head to head Carries-274 Yard-1609 AVG-5.9 TD-15 Mendy would be the top rank running back

sweed would be behind crabtree and maybe maclin but mendenhall would be the best rb by a pretty significant margin

mendenhalls production, coupled with his combine results, would put him heads and shoulders above wells and moreno....

Mendenhall would probably be picked between 10 and 15, because frankly neither Wells nor Moreno is the same caliber of prospect he was.
I'm less sure about Sweed--I didn't know much about Sweed coming our of college, but I don't think he would be above guys like Nicks on the board this year. |

Sweed has one job, run and catch the ball. Why do so many over look the fact when the guys wide open he can't do it? And don't give me that (he's a rookie) B.S....... Mendenhall had a freak accident, you'll never be able to evaluate the draft class untill these players mature....... and i hope they both do
