Default any Billy "The Kid" fans?

i stumbled across these photos in my album. ive lived in billy the kid country about all my life.

you tend to take some things for granted, and i had never went and toured the historical sites until my cousins (city kids from pittsburgh) visited last year.

anyways, i bought "young guns", we watched it one evening, and the next day drove the "billy the kid trail".

heres the courthouse he escaped from-

heres the stairwell in the courthouse where he shot and killed 1 of the deputies in his escape-

bullet hole still at the bottom of the stairwell in the courthouse-

original death warrant put out for billy-

Great pics!
I LOVE the Young Guns movies. I have them on video. This reminds me that I need to get them on dvd,

My favorite scene is when they are riding through the Indian camp while they were still high on the peyote.

Hey, Chavez, how come they ain't killing us?
Because we're in the spirit world, asshole. They can't see us.

me too. my cousins are "youngnz" themselves and had never seen the movie.

in the mach 10 pict i posted is white sands where the opening of young guns II was filmed besides the hwy.

in the rest of my 'storm photos' is the "jounada del muerto" where billy made his escape down to juarez.

Legend has it up in the hills where I grew up, somewhere there's a stash of gold coins they left hidden in one of their "Robbers Roosts".
