Obama Now Adopting "Failed McCain Policies"

This guy is a real piece of work. This has GOT to be embarrassing for the left.

(Bear in mind, this is only a way to pay for his socialized health care plan. He only stole part of McCain's idea, but he's still running with his government run health care idea. In essence, he's stealing a great idea to pay for a horrible one)

WASHINGTON - The Obama administration is signaling to Congress that the president could support taxing some employee health benefits, as several influential lawmakers and many economists favor, to help pay for overhauling the health care system.

The proposal is politically problematic for President Obama, however, since it is similar to one he denounced in the presidential campaign as “the largest middle-class tax increase in history.” Most Americans with insurance get it from their employers, and taxing workers for the benefit is opposed by union leaders and some businesses


In television advertisements last fall, Mr. Obama criticized his Republican rival for the presidency, Senator John McCain of Arizona, for proposing to tax all employer-provided health benefits. The benefits have long been tax-free, regardless of how generous they are or how much an employee earns. The advertisements did not point out that Mr. McCain, in exchange, wanted to give all families a tax credit to subsidize the purchase of coverage.

I mean, if I was a liberal, I would be OUTRAGED with Obama right now. What the Hell is the guy doing? Does he know. Does anyone know?

This guy is running our country in the middle of a HUGE financial crisis, and he has no clue what he's doing, and it's increasingly obvious with each passing day...

This is what America get's for voting in a community organizer. Heck, a Chicago community organizer at that. You can tell he is in way over his head!

He will say this "plan" of *AHEM* his is a way to get everyone free healthcare/handouts and the left will bow and praise him for his wisdom. I was not for McCains plan on health care, but at least he would let you claim it on taxes like you said.

What's really disappointing is that McCain is just sitting on the sidelines not doing a damned thing about it. You'd think that he's be jumping up and down on his desk screaming about how Obama is doing more or less what he was talking about.

But no, he just sits backs and plays the Maverick while his daughter goes on the The View and looks like a total space cadet.

McCain blasted the recent spending bill, and hit Obama pretty hard in the process. He's actually bucking the trend of recent defeated presidential candidates and actually still out in front. Usually these dudes just fade into oblivion...

Are you serious??? WTH is he supposed to do about it? McCain has class and isn't going to make waves publicly, though he has to be steaming on the inside. I know I sure would be. The Great One is trying to thieve McCain's idea and claim it as his own, though he pitched a fit about that plan during the campaign and even went so far as to conveniently fail to mention McCain's tax CREDIT on those benefits in his "slam McCain" ads.

Obama is, plain and simple, a total FARCE and an embarrassment to our country and those who blindly voted him into office. I have no sympathy whatsoever for any of them.
