The stock market is up for like the 6th straight day. Isn't that the ultimate judge or was that just the BS that was spewing when it was down to make Obama look bad?
![]() Oh yeah...and Palin doesn't know what she's doing.

Fed to buy up to $300B long-term Treasury bonds Fed will buy up to $300 billion of long-term government bonds; keeps key rate at record low WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Federal Reserve announced Wednesday it will spend up to $300 billion over the next six months to buy long-term government bonds, a new step aimed at lifting the country out of recession by lowering rates on mortgages and other consumer debt. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Fed-to...-14679757.html Heck yeah I want it to keep going up. We'll see what we see.

Thank you! Someone gets it! My point is that the left is STILL ripping Bush even though Obama is adopting his policies left and right. I actually applaud Obama for adopting Bush/McCain policies, because they are, quite simply, stronger and sounder policies than his own. BUT it is horribly hypocritical of him to do so all the same. As for the market rebound, I'm assuming that Benanke talking on 60 Minutes and stating that the Fed is pumping a trillion bucks into the system helps. As is the news that Obama is about pump a trillion into the banks to wipe the toxic shit off their books. You can't have it both ways, though (as I KNOW the left will try to do). They will TRY to say that the market tanked because of Bush, and rebounded because of Obama. Cherry picking the things that Bush did wrong and the things that Obama did right doesn't wash.

In regards to my post #22
US stock rally fades as investors assess Fed moves NEW YORK (AP) -- Investors doused a two-week-old stock rally Thursday on worries about fallout from the Federal Reserve's plan to pump more than $1 trillion into the financial system. A slump in banking and other financial shares pulled the market lower, but energy stocks got a boost from soaring crude oil prices. The retreat came a day after the Federal Reserve announced plans to buy up $300 billion in Treasury bonds and increase its purchases of mortgage-backed debt securities. The effect of the actions will be to add hundreds of billions of dollars of new money into the financial system in an effort to break a logjam in lending. By buying bonds, the Fed will push borrowing costs lower for purchases of everything from homes to cars http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/090319/na_us...ocks.html?.v=2

If this move works, the stock market should CONTINUE it's rally, not fade.
