Lordy lordy, some people just like to hate. It's pretty simple, and something I think even the haters can agree with: if you're upset with something, you tend to gravitate towards methods of expression. If you're pleased or even tolerant of something, and you realize that all a certain avenue presents is hatred and mistrust, you just ignore it.

I have a feeling if Obama eliminated all taxes, brought all troops home everywhere in the world, and somehow made China swear fealty to the U.S. and forgive all debts, he'd still be the Antichrist because the liberals ruined television (or something equally inane).

I ignore any thread talking about Obama because people throw buzz words with negative connotations around so frequently. I lose a tremendous amount of respect for most of the posters on these boards because I hear Fox News or CNN regurgitated out of their mouths. All the hate and anger and bigotry that flows from talk show hosts mouth's is etched into words so volatile I can almost feel the aggression screaming from my monitor. And what's sad is that unlike roadrage or "internet" rage, most of us would repeat these malignant words in person. I can accept obnoxiousness under the guise of anonymity; when it too often translates to real world righteousness it becomes incredibly disheartening.

Words like liberal no longer mean someone who believes in socially equal and exploratory policies, but instead has become the definition of someone who hates hard workers, and by extension anyone who supports liberal policies becomes a socialist or communist or whatever the monthly buzz word is.

I guess I am a democrat, but I won't point fingers without examining my own "party". Take the above paragraph and change the word liberal to conservative, and change the second half of that sentence to "someone who hates gays and blacks and only trusts in WASPs" and it would be true too. It becomes so exacerbated that from an outside view, the only difference between conservative and liberal is the origin and target of insults.

So when I see "Obama did this", posted by either a "conservative" or "liberal" poster on these forums, I ignore it, because there is a (sometimes not-so) veiled insult hidden in the text. Something like "Obama increases DoD budget" is followed up with the invisible question "What now?".

I don't know, I'm rambling, but this is just the culmination of silliness. Seriously? You think the guy has been perfect in the first 90 days? Conversely, you think he's failed at everything he's done? I have no time for people who see the world in absolutes, thus I pay little attention to those who give him an "A" or an "F". Rampant, reality-TV style silliness.

I apologize Tony. You are right. I did not write the constitution.....I simply read it....

The constitution, paragraph one:
