How often do the players change their helmets?
Is it every game,now and again or when they get damaged?

can't speak for the players, but i change my helmet after each encounter...its only 75 cents a pop ....

im not in the nfl but when i play, i have 1 practice helmet, and then one just for games. I usually shine my helmet, gotta look beast out there !

They probably have three helmets. A practice helmet, a game helmet, and a backup helmet.
