McFarlane NFL 2 Pack Roethlisberger/Holmes

Hasn't been announced at McFarlane yet, but apparently there is a Ben / Tone 2-pak coming in early August.. Just a Ben and Tory Holt repaint, but better than nothing.

Too bad it isn't a 3-pak with the Harrison TD. It might not be a SB XLIII pak, as the SB logo isn't on their jerseys. Very strange on McF's part. Are we being dissed here?

I believe the 3-pack released after SBXL didn't have any special markings on the figures or the package, but you know that was why they did it. BTW, This was the only way to get the Joey Porter figure.

Yeah, those weren't even in road unis. No pretense at a SB memento there. But with these, they're sorta depicting the catch, although good customs I've seen blow these away.

And they still have that @#$%ed palmer kneebrace on Ben.

i'm not sure if these are legit. i haven't heard anything from Spawn.com or McFarlanetoys.com and that Roethlisberger is the 3rd edition sculpture and i think that Holmes is the Hines mold. so, there's really nothing new here. but i've been griping about them putting out a Santonio Holmes figure since February. haha!

still waiting for that Harrison...still waiting...patiently. =)

I agree, without Harrison as trio this is not as good as it should've been. As 4 SB logos on their jerseys, they didn't have it on em neither when they released Troy & Matt figure set 4 SBXL. Though I don't know what they did with Giants SB figures or Colts SB figures.

It's a 1 way of McFarlane is telling us they all should wear kneebraces.

Ben didn't have that black t-shirt thing hanging out from his jersey sleeves, & he also had black wristband. & Holmes was wearing long black sock thing 2, right?

it's too bad i already have the Roethlisberger. i hope they sell the Holmes separately. but then again, they never sold the Joey Porter separately.

McFarlane doesn't have the right to use the Super Bowl Logos. Also, I believe both of these are repaints. Obviously Ben is a variation of his "former self" and the Holmes one, I believe is a Marvin Harrison...
