Default QB comparison, shared opponents...

Interesting...not nearly as lopsided as you might think.

Both teams are 6-1 against shared competition (Jax game was thrown out since Ben didn't play)

The 7 teams are Titans/Ravens/Browns/Texans/Patroits/Bengals/Chargers

Ben Comp/Att Yards TD Int
113-187 1408 12 2

Peyton Comp/Att Yards TD Int
159-235 1972 15 6

What do the rushing stats look like in that run?

I'd guess (without looking at the Colts) that we were pretty solid. Probably 1,000 yards rushing against those 7.

I'm too beat and buzzed to research further.

I will do it then.

They had:

Titans: 206 (PIT), 100 (IND GM 1), 105 (IND GM 2)
Ravens: 70 (PIT GM 1), 101 (PIT GM 2), 86 (IND)
Browns: 159 (PIT GM 1), 209 (PIT GM 2), 111 (IND)
Texans: 135 (PIT), 205 (IND GM 1), 126 (IND GM 2)
Patriots: 79 (PIT), 132 (IND)
Bengals: 221 (PIT GM 1), 95 (PIT GM 2), 92 (IND)
Chargers: 104 (PIT), 24 (IND)
Vs Each other: 86 (PIT), 127 (IND)

Totals: Pittsburgh (11 games) 1670 yards, 151.8 yds. per game
Indianapolis (10 games) 1108 yards, 110.8 yds. per game

I dont think you can really compare the stats of Manning/Roethlisberger, because obviously Manning is better. Here's the head to head.

Pittsburgh 86 Rush yds. 133 pass yds. 3 turnovers (2 INT, 1 TOD)
Indy 127 rush yds. 245 pass yds. 1 turnover (INT)

Well, the first part was okay...I don't know what your agenda was at the end.

More onions magically unpeeling themselves I fear.

Ever been called an onion before Brady12?

The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

No, but speaking of onions, the Toronto Raptors announcer Chuck Swirsky, sometimes says out of the blue "ONIONS! ONIONS! AND MORE ONIONS!" When there is a big play.

Wow thats a little on the crazy side - much more of that and the sound of his commentary may be dulled by padded walls!

One might stumble onto this site and believe it was a New England Patriots board...

But I get the last part now. It was the FIRST head-to-head match up between Ben and Peyton. Wouldn't that mean that the onion had another layer? I mean, unless you are prescient and/or Nostradamus, how could you possibly know how Ben and Peyton are gonna play this week?
