This is something they should have done already..IMO..they need defensive help in the worst way. They have some decent RB, and u can always draft or FA one to help carry the load.

Miami?? they signed to defensive ends already, maybe Jason Taylor will be traded, but I do realize they are considering a 3-4 with him as a lb

What it does show is the pecking order in the NFL. Peyton is the man in Indy. Gotta give him toys. Resign Harrison, deal James to pay the bill. QB holds the cards. On the other hand, Ben will be the man(Mike whats the crystal ball say?)and asks that Burress comes back. We make no calls and remind Ben that running is everything. When it comes to senior statesmen in the NFL Peyton is head of the Senate.

Payton is overrated. He calls his own plays after all. How many teams do you see throw from the 1 as much as Indy? Pad the numbers Payton but you will never win anything! It's amazing how many TD's he throw's from inside the five. James must really hate him...lol

I don`t know if Peyton is overated, but I do know all thier $$ goes to offense and no Defense. And this is Tony Dungy we are tlaking of???

Yeah its surprising how much of a lack of defense there really is in Indy. Even in Tampa, tony built that defense into stardom at the expense ofthe offense..now its 180 degree turn.
