Default Rodney Harrison Retires

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) Rodney Harrison is done hitting quarterbacks.

The two-time Pro Bowl safety announced his retirement on Wednesday after a 15-year career for the New England Patriots and San Diego Chargers.

The 36-year-old Harrison holds the NFL record for defensive backs with 30 1/2 sacks. He also has 34 interceptions, making him the only player to have at least 30 of each.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — AP wire has also confirmed that Rodney Harrison, though leaving the game, has not retired from being a premiere thug and cheap shot specialist.

Harrison has been teamed with Emmitt Smith as a sports broadcast team, and word is that he will be allowed to punch Emmitt in the face everytime he mispronounces a word and kick Emmitt in the va-jay-jay everytime he uses the wrong pronoun.

The two-time Pro Bowl safety will continue this practice until therapy and rehabilitation help him work out his chronic 'roid rage.

A broadcast executive stated that this is a win-win situation for all involved.

Good thing we will no longer be watching Mr. Cheapshot's dirty style of play. He sure would have been a perfect fit for the 70s raiders, the raider teams who enjoyed playing dirty
