OV probably could have had more. He shut him down as much as you can shut down OV over a 7 games sereis.

Scuds at 3.4 is really high, but im happy for him. Now Shero, get aggressive.

I'll miss him, more than GILL, for sure.
While I realize you are the other Gill hater in this forum, I'm going to take the high road here and say that I'm going to miss BOTH of them. They played very well together and as I've said in about a gazillion posts - the proof is in the playoff run and Lord Stanley's Cup sitting in the Burgh.

Actually they did, but why let more ridiculous Gill bashing to get in the way of the facts?
You know damned well that simply isn't true. The Pens didn't offer him a contract because he is 34 years old and he wanted a 2 year deal. I'm shocked at your comment as many times you've told me how well you felt Gill played during the playoffs.

That was a response to Steel Head's claim that the Pens didn't try to re-sign Gill when in fact they did talk to him about coming back. I certainly wasn't bashing him - I appreciate his contributions and acknowledged how well he played in the playoffs.

OK - my apologies. I take issue with those who bash ANY player who gives 150% each and every game. Gill isn't fleet of foot, but he did what the Pens hired him to do - ride forwards off the puck and use that big bod to his best advantage and he did both very well. I'm going to miss him and hope he does well in Montreal.

Almost all Pens fans will miss Scuderi tons more than Gill not just because he is way better but he came up through our system. He used to not be very good in Wilkes Barre. He worked hard into becoming a solid NHL player. I'm happy for him

Dont worry Montreal will suck next year. You simply cannot turn over that many players and think you will be good, there is something called chemistry that they will be missing. They let their captain walk (Koivu) and still haven't officially signed Kovalev.

It is interesting to note, should the Penguins lose Fedotenko, the guy who scored the Stanley Cup-clinching goal for Tampa Bay in 2004, they have "replaced" him with Rupp who scored the Cup-clinching goal for New Jersey in 2003:

I just thought of a crazy trade we could pull off.

Staal + something to LA for Jack Johnson and either Frolov or Dustin Brown

it makes sense when you think about it even though I am a big Staal fan and would hate to see him go.

Jack Johnson wants out of LA badly and now that they signed Scuderi they can afford to let him go. Oh btw, he is close friends with Crosby.

Then you have Frolov or Brown who are both soild and would be sick playing with Malkin

Then we could sign Zigomanus for our 3rd line center
