TSN said Hossa to the Blackhawks is close. If Hossa signs then Havlat won't.

Kovalev signed with MTL. 2yrs/8.8

The rumor is now that we could be close to a trade with the flames, Dupuis + godard for Curtis Glenncross

Why do they want to get rid of Godard? I can understand Dupuis though.

For Biz-Nasty?

And Glenncross set an unofficial record for fastest skater in Edmonton. He is signed through 2010-2011 at 1.2 so only 200,00 less that Dupuis.

didnt really have a need for him at the end of the season. we got Biz Nasty that we can use if we trade Godard.

For now its just a rumor. Quiet first hour, just Ohlund and Dvorak.

I will bitch profusely if the Pens trade Godard. Biz Nasty is nowhere NEAR the deterrent that Godard is, and cannot handle the major HWs. We had a soft as shit lineup last year WITH Godard, Cup win aside. Without him, we might challenge Detroit for the softest team in the league.

Sorry for maybe a double post, but any chance that Tim Wallace and Biz start the year with the big club?

only if we do pull that trade

resigning Adams probably keeps Wallace in the AHL or gets him to sign else where

Colt Orr signs with the Maple Leafs so that limits the Orr/Godard brawls we get to see next year
