I guess he deserves it, but man is that alot of money for an average of 4.5 kicks a game

yeah he has been very good this year, but in my opinion thats a little too much for a kicker

U can get ur last dollar that its a nice signing bonus...but also backloaded too ! So it worked out better to give him a bigger deal to stretch the money farther.

I agree great deal. He gets a chunk in a signing bonus. Then the average is right in line. Adam V., Akers, Vandajerk make like 1.5 a year. So Reed is right under them. As for 4.5 kicks a game, its that .5 kick in the fourth that is worth so much.

Not for a 85% kicker with 50 yard power. If you don't think it is a good deal, then give me an idea of what plan B is considering he did make the kick to beat NYJ in the playoffs. Till then I got no problem giving respectable cash to someone who has earned it.

Plus he can kick in Heinz Field, and thats saying something, since virtually nobody else can w/ any kind of consistency.
