AHHHHHHH
Ok so I'm so mad right now I thought I would share my sports pain with everyone. So some of you might know that I swim in college but havnt swam pretty much all season because of a shoulder problem. So I had an MRI and it was just a rotator cuff inflammation due to instability in my shoulder. But it hasn't gotten any better so I had to go see the team Doc. Well the first words out of his mouth were surgery. He thinks I have torn some cartlidge. So I'm pissed! He said the recovery time is 6 months! But I guess the only good thing is that I get my year back through a medical redshirt. Just had to vent a little!!

You're young, and will repair quickly. Up until about 3 months ago, the worst injury I'd ever suffered was a broken heart from a girl named Andrea back in '93, and some knee damage due to falling down a hill in a drunken stupor at an OU Halloween party in '90.
Now I have a neck injury that I'm rehabbing, and a new L 4-5 that happened yesterday resulting from, as far as I can tell, making the bed! Moral of the story...no matter how much you take care of yourself, shit happens, and it only gets worse as you get older. |

Hope everything goes well with your shoulder. I was a swimmer back in the day, thought about swimming in college, but decided against it. GOOD LUCK!!!!
