The Hofbrauhaus in the Southside Works. If you like food and GREAT German beer, this is the place to go. They brew a lot of beers right there on site. There are only three of them in the U.S. Also Roland's Seafood Grill in the Strip is GREAT.
If you say "fish" and "Strip District" in the same breath, people always think Wholey's(and deservedly so), but Roland's is a nice gem of a seafood restaurant in the Strip too. Last edited by JackHammer; 08-25-2009 at 02:20 PM. |

Very cool stuff Jackhammer, thanks.
![]() The Hofbrauhaus sounds like it's a very lively and entertaining place. Like a year long Octoberfest. So don't go for some quiet conversation. Go for some great tasty beer and German style food. Form the menu, It looks like they have a great in house (haus) selection.

Hot dogs...Franktuary downtown is money...pierogies? Not my thing. Hofbrauhaus is definitely worth checking out, too. Full litres of beer for $7, great German food, and oompah band playing classic rock, and "beer wenches" with their...umm...assets proudly on display for everyone. Can't lose....

Pamela's P&G Diner is also a solid choice for breakfast.

there aint nothing like city life, where you can go to a hotdog joint in mid day and buy a can (or 40) of beer "to go", and drink it out of the brown bag as you walk up the street to catch your bus (or in my case, before you go to the museum).the o rocks. take a small army if you order the large fry.
