There would really be some karma at work if he actually fell further than if he would have just manned up. A year without football, and end up making less anyway.

LOL, yeah, what is Crabtree thinking?

He has to be completely retarded to think he'll go high on the draft with a year of nothing under his belt. That leads me to believe that he just doesn't want to play for the 49ers, and/or at least wants to play with a prolific passer (something 9ers certainly do not have).

It would make some sense too, as I think the 9ers wanted something like a 5 year deal...
