Maybe our D is just that damn good. Better coaching also.

Or maybe the Steelers Defense has a lot of pride and is ready to bring it yet again.

This is silly...if they KNOW it's going to be a run play, the defense SHOULD stop them every time. They just stack 11 in the box and win on numbers alone...our defense (if they know there is not a chance of seeing a pass) would stop any offense in history 97 out of 100 times I'm guessing...

It's not a reality drill, it's about toughness and establishing an identity and learning to work together as a cohesive unit.

Ain't no "maybe" about it.

Of course, defenses are usually a week or two ahead of the O in preseason anyway.

And - everyone knows we are finesse passing offense now anyway.

5 Wide!!!

With all the hamstrings, the players need to warm up more with stretching and drink more fluids. Hammies are nagging and can be avoided.

This is a great drill for our team to practice! If our O can score consistently against our great D, then they should be able to score against pretty much anyone.....I hope they keep doing it until the O figures something out......BUT don't do it until bodies start getting hurt

This is the first year in the last five that my two young sons and I will not be going to camp which is always a blast. Too much work, too busy schedules...whataya gonna do...anyway....

Is it me or is Mendenhall starting to resemble a first round bust? Big dudes that run soft don't last too long in this league, kid needs to step it up, live up to the pick....sweed as well. Tellin' yunz....Bruce Arians is not a backs friend...dude cannot call a running game effectively and sue me....I am continuing last seasons BA firing watch. We talk all offseason about what needs upgraded on this offense.....it's the GD coordinator first and foremost IMO. You wanna win by attrition? Impose your will? Dominate TOP? Put Mendenhall and your best blocker out there, maybe two, hit the holes and move the chains come Thursday....if RM doesn't cut it give sommers a shot, if he doesn't cut it give the FA rook a shot. First and foremost this team needs to regain it's identity, whethor BA makes the trip or not.

No No No.,.. see, when Bettis was here we played smashmouth football. Heck, he cloud have lined up without a line and carried all 11 defensive players into the endzone. That is why he was the Bus. We have to get back to smashmouth football. Does Bettis want to come out of retirement? We can give him a lineman to help now!

/sarcasmrant
