With all us kids there to see it, a bunch of "classy" hippie lib types flpped her off 'cause of the Marine Corp parking decals on our car. Can you imagine being with your kids, all 8 yrs of age or younger, going grocery shopping and being flipped off and yelled at? Hearing your husband (whom you're worred sick about) called all sorts of nasty things in front of the kids that havn't seen him in probably 6 mos?

Seeing as I work for a major university, I can say with confidence that a LOT of Democrats/liberals cheer and glorify those kinds of people. Add up all of the liberals on all of the major college campuses in the country, and, well, you do the math. And that's without adding in all of the ones who DON'T attend/work for universities.

The bottom line is, once again, if you're going to point your fickle finger at Republicans, it might be a good idea to clean up your own back yard first.

Well, I wouldn't quite go THAT far, but I am disappointed that the far leftists have hijacked the party. It's why I'm strongly considering going back to being an independent (I won't join the Republicans either, for reasons I mentioned in another thread). I'm quite tired of having my voice drowned out just because I don't tow the party line.

If people would quit electing polarizing figures (read: extreme leftists/righties), quit listening to people like Michael Moore, Keith Olbermann, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, and our politicians stop with the partisan bickering and start coming up with policies that make sense, then maybe the bickering would end.
